Birmingham, June 9, 2015 – Mark Wenham, former Army officer and Head of the UK Defence Media Operations Centre, has joined crisis management consultancy Insignia as part of its growing consultant team. He will develop and deliver crisis management planning, training and exercises, and provide senior counsel to Insignia’s clients as they manage challenging situations.
Before joining Insignia, Mark was Head of the UK Defence Media Operations Centre where he developed and delivered crisis communications and media training and exercises across the Armed Forces and beyond. During this period he was also seconded to the National Security Council Communications Team in the Cabinet Office.
Prior to this, he fulfilled senior communication roles within NATO, including Chief of Military Public Affairs and spokesman at a NATO assigned HQ and as Deputy Chief of Military Public Affairs for Joint Command Headquarters in Afghanistan.
